New Zealand Golf Industry Council (NZGIC) has been launched with the sole purpose to unite the industry on agreed industry-wide initiatives. Key benefits are as follows:
- The New Zealand Golf Industry Council provides networking opportunities for its members
- With a member database representing leaders in the New Zealand golf industry including new Zealand Golf, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, tour operators, publishers and District, Club Manager and Course Superintendents Association, the New Zealand Golf Industry Council serves as a valuable resource whereby members can learn and be updated on the latest news on products and services and on the social, government and economic conditions affecting the industry

- The Council is managed by its members for its members and members who are keen to grow the Council can serve on the Board to discuss specific issues from protection of intellectual property, education to environmental sustainability/safety, and operating ethics and standards to name a few.
- Members will be approached and given opportunities to support New Zealand Golf Industry Council endorsed educational programmes organized by member organisations such as the Professional Golfers Association of New Zealand, the Club Management Association of New Zealand and the NewZealand Course Superintendents Association of New Zealand.
- Members have the opportunity of being featured in e-newsletters and to contribute meaningful and newsworthy contents on their company's services and products.
- Members will be invited to meetings, events and workshops specially organized for members and their guests where latest industry information will be shared and discussed.
